The Stowe Village Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It was lovely returning to Stowe. The village Inn had many different types of accommodation for all seasons."

Hampton Inn Colchester
8/10 Good
"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a very nice facility, the hallways had a very strong musty scent. I was disappointed in the lack of amenities in the room. The bathroom had obviously been restored, but not to the standard I believe you would find acceptable. No shower cap or other toiletries one normally has in room at that price point and no ceiling fan. Usually there’s two bottled waters in the fridge and no clock or book with specifics about the hotel if you needed information. Honestly when traveling again, more than likely I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay at one of your hotels it’s more money than it worth."

The Essex Resort & Spa
4/10 Poor
"None explain anything to us. Where anything was I walked all over trying to buy a drink. Everyone was way too busy with the wedding that was going on"

Innsbruck Inn at Stowe
10/10 Excellent
"Very good value for Stowe area. The Inn was very clean and well-kept. All the amenities make it a great find. Don't bother going downtown. Take a swim, play pickleball, head out on the walking paths or take a sauna or hot tub. Plenty of bacon with the scrambled eggs, fruit and fresh coffee. Vermont resident. This is our new hangout. "

Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"The hotel itself is beautiful and very large, and overall the room and property were clean and well maintained. The staff was also friendly during my stay, which I appreciated. However, there were a couple of things that made me uncomfortable. One was that the coffee and tea were removed promptly at 6 PM even though there were barely any guests at the hotel at the time. I felt the staff could have made a small exception. My main concern, though, was security. The property is extremely large, and some areas felt completely isolated and deserted. I noticed that several exterior doors appeared to remain open from the outside, which honestly made me feel unsafe. I raised my concern to the front desk and was told that the doors remain open so guests can come back in. In a hotel of this size, I would expect those doors to remain locked from the outside and require a guest key card for entry. I also looked around for security cameras and did not notice many visible security measures. While the hotel is beautiful, that particular situation affected my sense of safety during the stay."

Motel 6 Colchester, VT - Burlington
6/10 Okay
"Unfortunately this stay was very disappointing, especially for the price we paid during graduation weekend. The area did not feel safe, and the overall atmosphere around the hotel made us uncomfortable. There appeared to be long-term or low-income housing units in the building, with a lot of people and dogs coming and going, unusual smells throughout, and very limited amenities. Although the parking lot was close to the hotel, there were vehicles that appeared to be occupied overnight, which made us uneasy about leaving our truck there. We ended up leaving early the next morning after being awakened by police and ambulance activity when a truck crashed into the Burger King across the street. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, especially considering the high cost of the room."
