It has the wow factor we love - complimentary valet parking, welcome cocktails, basket of treats waiting in our room, coffee & pastry delivered to our door at our preferred time each morning, turn down service, incredible staff, delicious restaurant, and perfect location. We will definitely return!"

"The property needs an electric upgrade. There are no outlets and the ones they have 4 plugs are connected into them. Could use a better TV and elongated toilet seat in the bathroom. Fiberglass in the tub was chipped off."

"Mark, at the front desk, was amazing! He took time to explain all the hotel features and even the area, have dining options and tips for exploring the area. He was excellent! The room itself was pristine! Beautiful, so spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing night! Would 100% recommend the Grasshopper Inn to anyone coming to Maine! Loved our stay!"

"Very easy and pleasant check in. I had trouble logging in to the hotel WiFi and the nice person at check in said she’d call her boss just then, but I told her it wasn’t necessary. The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft, nice pillows and towels, but the air conditioner was distractingly loud, so trying to get to sleep I had to put a pillow over my head. I did let reception know this when I checked out. The shower was strong with plenty of pressure. A little slow to drain even with a short...

"I was pleased overall with the stay. The accommodations and staff were great. Beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped. The only suggestion would be to have dark roast coffee in the room and lobby. Fresh fruit at breakfast. Other than these minor suggestions everything was great! I cannot comment on the pool since it was too cold to be swimming outdoors when we stayed here. It was open and well-maintained that I could see."

"The property is a refurbished inn from the 1600- 1700 time period. It has about 25 rooms in the center of Kennebunk and very walkable to services, dining and shops. Because of its age, one can hear a lot of noise/activity inside and out, but the property does know this and offers ear plugs and eye masks for its guests. Nicely kept historic inn for this 250th birthday of the USA!"
