"I don't normally bother to write reviews for hotel stays, because most of them are about the same as the last one. I chose the Sleep Inn because the price was agreeable and it was near to things I wanted to do, but I was pleasantly impressed! Clearly this hotel was originally built in another era given the furniture and design of the rooms, but I found the recent updates to be tasteful while retaining a lot of original 90s character, and everything was in wonderful condition and repair. Clearly this hotel has been well loved by the owners and staff. The gentleman manning the complimentary breakfast was very friendly and helpful for such an early morning job, and the front desk staff was similarly cheerful and nice to talk to. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. They clearly added as many plugs as they could to the room given the age of the space, and I had no issue charging all my things. Overall, it was a really nice stay and a very quiet hotel with a beautiful view of the East Bay."
