"Since we booked thru Expedia the receptionist would not give us our Holiday Inn points. The hot tub was closed and the air conditioning in the room did not work (it was a balmy 98 degrees) when we got there. After contacting the front desk we were told the maintenance workers had gone home. No other rooms were available so we were told we would get a discount. In the morning when we checked out another lady was working and she said since we booked thru Expedia she could not give us a discount...

"There were trains blowing their whistles every hour or two throughout the night. Whenever I went to the front desk, there was no one there and I had to wait for them. They were helpful once they got back from wherever they were. Breakfast was ok, but pancake maker didn't cook the pancakes completely. Mine was the first of the day so maybe that's why. I would pick a different location and hotel if I'm back in the area due to the trains "
