"Very clean room and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Shower is a bit of a dribble and you need to bring your own soap or shower gel. No breakfast but there's options just around the corner. A great pub with lots of beers on offer from their own brewery. I'd happily go back."

"The stay was great. They had an issue with hot water but every part of the service was exemplary and enjoyed the stay. Have to say that the staff were super helpful and made the stay even better. Huge thanks to them."

"Stayed a few times. It’s in need of a touch up but worth the money. The restaurant is really good, with staff doing a great job. Mostly compliments to the stand in manager and the chef."

"The room was very clean and a comfy bed. However VERY dissapointed with the breakfast. Would have preferred somewhere to sit down and eat rather than perch on the bed, breakfast cereals and pastries available just outside the room, but nowhere to sit down and no milk, only found a very small amount of little pods of milk for drinks. However as we didn't use the wardrobe, to store clothes, it was only on leaving and doing a routine check, thatxwe found a small fridge with milk in."

"Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...
