The COVID-19 pandemic may have changed how we travel, but it hasn't halted our passion for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to navigate the new challenges of travelling:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA officer will ask you to lower your mask temporarily to verify your identity.
• Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Instead, you should position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• TSA now allows passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will have to be removed from your bag and submitted for screening.
• Place any personal items (phone, wallet and keys) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're bringing food on the plane with you, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
