Many people in our group were vegetarian and there were no options in the restaurant menus. Also, the resort advertises 7 restaurants, but only a few are open each day. We had a hard time finding good food for vegetarians.

The resort itself is fabulous not to mention the friendly and very helpful staff they were just amazing. I’ve been to Mexico a lot of times and l would always book an all inclusive package because of what the resorts have to offer. With my past experiences unfortunately Fiesta Americana have disappointed me tremendously particularly what the buffet restaurant have to offer. Excellent service, the staff are great. The drinks were always great. Our room was very clean and spotless everyday. Only complaint is the breakfast could have a bit more variety and longer waits for dinner occasionally. We would definitely come back

Limited dining, and when I did eat, the food was subpar. I did not have a single good meal in 3 days. It seemed they used the cheapest food available. I wish there were a Pizza stand. Check-in took almost 15 minutes. Check-out took about the same. When I got to my room, the a/c was not cooling sufficiently. I reported this to the front desk, and it was repaired quickly.

The staff was very nice however I did not appreciate maintenance storming into my room with their own key card and not knocking either, to greet me in my underwear and bra. Hoping that being 72 it damaged his eyes for life.:) I did not appreciate watching my specially made dish being brought and place on 3 different tables in front of 3 different breathing on it people before being brought to me. Otherwise normal average food not over the top and not consistent or made the same way each day. Will never go back! Some venues were closed ( games room and commercial market store) and the restaurants are not open every night they rotate them.

This was a horrible experience and hands down the worst resort I have ever stayed at. Fiesta Americana in Puerto Vallarta is dirty, outdated, and extremely poorly maintained. There was a couch left in a main walkway with worn, torn cushions and exposed padding. Our first room had a jacuzzi on the balcony that was filthy with a visible grease ring inside. The closet door would not stay shut, there was barely any hot water anywhere in the room, and all water fixtures throughout the room were loose, splashy, outdated, and barely functional. We documented everything with photos and brought our concerns to management, who moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. When we tried to use the bathtub, brown water came out of the faucet, and after draining it, the tub leaked water directly into the sleeping area. The gym is a complete joke! Nearly all machines are broken and unusable, forcing us to leave the resort daily and pay out of pocket for another gym as well as for transportation. The food is also a disappointment, with only one tiny buffet for the entire resort, leading to ridiculous wait times STANDING just to get in, and an extremely limited selection consisting mostly of fruits and vegetables prepared in different ways. This place is absolutely not worth the money, and I would not recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Hotel does not have a business center computer available for guest use. I had an issue with my phone and needed to access my email to receive a code. Not one computer available due to staff member. I had to go into town to a media center and rent computer time. Eventually I was able to re start my phone without help from hotel

The service was amazing. Mario, the service manager, was great, and Leo and Alan also provided excellent service. However, the room could have been cleaner, and there were cockroaches in our room, although they changed our room right away. The food variety could also be improved.

El personal super amable y eficiente, las instalaciones de la propiedad les falta mantenimiento, son muy viejas. Pague una habitación con vista al mar y apenas y se alcanzaba a ver. Tienen un restaurante Italiano donde la comida no es buena además no especifica en español la carta por lo que uno no sabe ni que comerá. Lo único que salva al hotel es el personal que si es muy amable.

Our family’s stay at Fiesta Americana was a major disappointment. We chose this resort to celebrate our parents’ 50th anniversary, hoping for an unforgettable experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The issues began right at check-in. There was only one staff member available, who was not welcoming and provided no information about the resort’s amenities or dining options. We weren’t even given a map because none were available. We were assigned two rooms on the first floor, which might have been acceptable if privacy had been ensured. However, the rooms were directly adjacent to the pool area, making it impossible to relax in the outdoor hot tub without feeling exposed. When we requested different rooms, we were told we either had to pay extra or wait until the next day. That same night, one of the rooms had a clogged toilet, and another required urgent balcony door repairs because it wouldn’t close properly. We tried to remain positive, hoping the experience would improve. To our surprise, the buffet was not open every evening, and only select restaurants operated on certain days. Besonders zu erwähnen war die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und das leckere schön angerichtete Essen in den Restaurants. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr sauber. Die Außenanlagen waren sehr gut gepflegt.

El servicio del hotel es espectacular. El personal es super amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Estuve por el Ironman 70.3 y lo recomiendo 1000%. Se abrió una cena con opciones para los triatletas y en la madrugada tipo 4:30 am colocaron un desayuno especial para el evento. En ubicación fue excelente muy cerca de la salida y meta del evento. La vista al mar fue increíble hasta pudimos ver delfines y ballenas desde el balcón de la habitación. Totalmente recomendado.

We did not have a good experience at this resort. When we first arrived the check in was good but once we went up to the hotel room there were roaches. The service we received at the buffet the first day we arrived was ok but the second and third day they made us feel like we were not welcomed there. They also didn’t have a lot of food choices to choose from and what they did have it tasted very bland. The servers were not attentive when it came to asking what we wanted to drink or if we needed anything from them that was not available in the buffet area. We tried the Italian restaurant for dinner, awful experience with the service and the quality of the food. When we arrived to the Italian restaurant we waited about 10 minutes for the hostess to show up and seat us, once we were seated we waited for another 10 min for the server to even notice us. If it weren’t for a white couple that sat next to us im sure we would have waited longer. When it came time to be in the pool area or beach area there were about 2 servers for both areas. We were only asked if we wanted something to drink once and after that it was hard to find servers. When we went up to the bar located in the lobby we were told that they were not able to serve us drinks if we came from the pool area in our swimsuits (we were not wet). To this I looked around and saw other guests wearing their swimsuits and they were being served. Overall we felt discriminated and not welcomed at this establishment.

I loved how quiet the resort was. It being 2/3 private residence adds to the appeal for me- less people in restaurants and overall in general at the resort. Loved how there was no loud music blaring. Pool staff was wonderful. Sandra the manager was great- we had an issue with our room our last day and she found a solution to make up for the mix up. Resort is older- could use better mattresses because wow does my back hurt after a week. The buffet was one of the worst I’ve had at a resort in Mexico but nonetheless, I’m looking forward to see what new management does with the place and I will be back.
