I wanted a quiet, peaceful place to stay to recover from long travels and adjust to a 17 hour time difference. Paradise First was perfect for me. I loved watching sunrises and sunsets on the upper deck. Latu and her staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. Business travelers frequently use this hotel. I enjoyed hearing about their work over breakfast. It’s about a 35 minute walk to the restaurant district. FYI.

I stayed two weeks at Paradise First Hotel. During my stay, the hotel staff was very kind and friendly, and I was able to spend a comfortable time.

The owners of Paradise First were so helpful and attentive to my needs throughout my stay. This was a very convenient location from which to explore Nuku'alofa and the rest of the island.

An unforgettable 6 days — Paradise First Hotel My wife and I stayed at Paradise First Hotel for six days, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip — mostly thanks to the incredible hosts, Latu and Alai. From the start, Latu and her staff went above and beyond. Every morning brought the biggest, most generous breakfast spread. When our taxi ran late one evening, Latu simply drove us to the restaurant herself. She also took us on a full tour of the island, which was such a fun and generous thing to offer, and personally dropped us off and picked us up from our conference each day. She has to be one of the kindest people we've met while travelling. On the Friday night, the hotel put on a Tongan feast for guests, and we ended up sharing dinner and stories with the other people staying there — a lovely, communal touch that made the whole stay feel less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. Adi at reception was also wonderful — warm and helpful throughout our stay. By the end of our time there, we'd gotten to know Latu and Alai well enough to exchange gifts before we left, and we made sure to invite them both to dinner with us later in the trip. If you want a stay that's as much about genuine hospitality as it is about the room, we can't recommend Paradise First Hotel highly enough.

The Property is Very modern, clean, and highly recommended. We’ll visit this Hotel again. Have made our visit to the island great. The Owner, Latu was very hospitality, generous, kind, and knowledgeable of the area.

Staff are lovely at this home stay style hotel. Few things were broken like aircon and the room was basic but large room and balcony. The location is very quiet but not near any dining or anything to do. It is close to a brewery for takeaway craft beer but that’s about it

Una casa excelente y súper espaciosa.

Nos ha encantado. Es una casa enorme con habitaciones muy grandes y un salón con terraza enorme. Necesitamos espacio después de estar tres semanas viajando y este hotel era lo que necesitábamos. Latu, la dueña, fue simpatiquísima con nosotros y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. Nos hubiera gustado pasar más noches.

A very basic hotel in Nuku'alofa, Tonga. No frills whatsoever, but extremely kind staff. They can arrange airport pickup or/and a tour around the island. Walking distance from the city center.

The best place I've been to in the kingdom. Very sweet and respectful staff. They have big breakfast with fresh papaya always. Room is clean and a fan with Aircon is a big plus because it's hot in Tonga. I am enjoying my stay. Next time I come visit Tonga this will be my first choice.

Great staff and comfortable stay

The staff was great. Only down fall was water was turned off one for a day and a half, some days no hot water, if you book on a website, pay the price online, you wont be suprised later if you pay at the property

Trods email var værelset låst, da vi ankom kl. 0300. Måtte sove på sofaen på 1. sal uden adgang til toiletter, seng etc... Fik dog morgenmad, men jo ikke pengene værd, når man ingen seng får!

Very kind and caring staff, who really go over a beyond for their customers. Safe site fully fenced/gated and staff live on site and are happy to support you no matter the day/night. House keeping, room service, air conditioning, laundry service, beautiful free breakfast they also provide dinner meals on request. Room very tidy and clean with sliding door. Thank you Josephine and Latu I will definitely be back.

This place is affordable. Very clean and spacious with a nice breakfast in the morning. Shuttle bus to and from the airport is very convenient for the visitors.The female owner is a very kind person if she sees her guests in town looking lost, she will take them back to the hotel free of charge.It happened to us we were looking for a shop to buy foods etc.We were walking on the road and she saw us from her car. She stopped and took us to the nearest store and waited until we finished shopping and took us back to our hotel.I recommend this place for everyone that wants to go to Tonga. Thank you for the outstanding service. :) :) <3<3

スタッフの教育ができているのか？不安。

夜中に到着のため、空港お迎えを頼んでいたが、1時間待っても来なくてタクシーでホテルに向かった。レセプションの女性に迎えが来なかったことを伝えると、あなた達が出てくるのな遅かったのやでは？と言われたが、私達は前方に座っていたしスーツケースも早く出てきたので出たのはかなり早かった。他のお客さんだけ連れて、先にホテルに戻っていたらしい。ひどいホテル。部屋に入るとあるはずの水もミルクもなかった。次の朝、ないことを伝えるともらえた。責任者のmikaが対応してくれて、無事に滞在できた。

No hot water, except for one day out of five. The internet was so slow almost to the point of being useless. The staff was extremely nice, same with the owner, and they served a good breakfast. However, the infrastructure needs some updating and there was only one useable outlet in the room, and even that wasn’t in a convenient location.
