The price was good. Parking was good. I suppose my night of sleep (rm 9) might have been nicer if the fellow next door (in rm 8) wasn’t coughing all night and never ever turned off his TV the entire time I was there. The volume was low but still… thin walls.

Very old motel that has never been improved at all. The carpet is old and rusty. No chair inside my room. The toilet 🚽 bowl moves when you sit on it like the foundation is not stable. I love the AC though. It’s extremely cold especially for this hot weather summer season. Bath towels have some old stains. TV 📺 has good cable channels.

The hotel is extremely old-fashioned and it smells that way. I had problems rating this because it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Neither was the service or the amenities. It is a little ran down but it's a place to lay your head. The shower pressure was amazing. The rest was very dated then there was a crucifix tucked in to the frame of the bathroom doorway which added creepy vibes.

Not really surprised based on the price, but the room was dirty, smelled like cigarettes even in the non smoking room and the bathroom door barely closed. The bed however was not terrible and there was a mini fridge and microwave.

I’m just disappointed that the windows don’t have locks at all other than that it’s a good room with jacuzzi. I just hope that their housekeeper would be transparent and honest since the last time I stayed in this property I left something in one of the drawers but they are claiming there is none found or left. 💁‍♂️😞

The Pros: For a budget motel, this relatively low-priced room (for the Cold Spring area) was available last minute for well less than the $500+ competition. The room was free and clear of anything bad or odorous. No markings in the corners or on the mattress. It had a fairly new TV, microwave & a dorm refrigerator. It had HOT water with great pressure in the shower! Parking & getting in & out of there was easy. The key card worked well. It was quiet (other than what's described below) & we received a pretty good night of sleep! When we were leaving, we saw the cleaning lady working the rooms near our location. The Cons: The sign, the building and our room appeared as though they had not updated (or repaired) since the 80's. In our room we observed broken and stained ceramic foyer tiles (2 roundish holes??), a broken picture frame with 3 small holes above it, a missing end-table lamp, only 3 clothes hangers, broken drawers, no hooks or locations to put any toiletries (other than on the toilet) and a broken bathroom towel rack (the horizontal bar between the ceramic ends was missing). The AC-Heater had an uneven squirrel cage, so every time it came on it made an awful humming-vibrating sound & this happened All. Night. Long. The sheets, while clean appeared cheap and old. The box spring cover was stained with Lord knows what. All in all, the place served its purpose & we did get a descent night's sleep. Next time though, we'll schedule in advance & something nicer.
