"Just out of town but they do a free shuttle bus into the town. A cab is €10. We stayed in their apartments (opposite the main hotel) which gave you a small lounge, conservatory and then the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It smelt a bit musty but we were there a few days and so it soon cleared. There was also a car parking space under the apartment. We never ate there but used the sun terrace and pool and had a night cap in the bar."

"The apartment we stayed in was amazing - Lole and Tere were very accommodating. The food was fantastic, especially the shrimp and the steak. The pick up from the bar on the camino worked perfectly and the drop off was equally easy. The place is beautiful and the staff work really hard. It was a perfect place to stay while walking the camino."

"The Oca hotel was ideally located for us as we had completed the El Camino two days prior and wanted to be a bit away from the busy part of Santiago but still with easy access to the train station and good restaurants. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Breakfast was the best we have had in two weeks of traveling."

"The Montenegro hotel is very close to all the best bits of Santiago. Shopping, eating, historic buildings and of course the cathedral. The rooms are quite small, but modern and functional. No A/C which might be a problem in summer. WiFi was good and receptionist was very helpful. Shame that reception is only open for part of the day!"
