"Had an incredible experience at this hotel. The staff was welcoming, the room was spotless, and every detail made the stay feel special. Truly exceeded expectations and I’d happily return."
"The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby is welcoming and clean, and the front desk people are friendly. Check in was quick and painless and it was easy to find parking close to our room.
We did not use the amenities while we were here, but they have a walking trail which offered a 1.5 and 2 mile route. There's an in-house restaurant, which has a great prime rib dinner special that I would recommend. Probably one of the best prime ribs I've had in a while!
Room was clean. Unfortunately could not figure out how to make the A/C work, or if it just didn't happen to work in our room, but that was really the only downside. The whole room is pretty spacious, as well as the bathroom. There's also a 24/7 market and gas station that's right next to it too, which was convenient during our departure the next morning.
Overall a super nice stay, I would choose it again if I come through Flagstaff."
"Rooms were very cute-- there's a disco lamp! Rooms and state of the parking lot were very clean. A/C worked perfectly, and the water ran hot.
Wasn't expecting complimentary sparkling water upon arrival, and the lobby was even cuter than the rooms. It offered plenty of space to hang out as well as board games and even bikes that you could borrow at your leisure. Very impressed by everything offered despite not taking advantage of it all. We didn't use the amenities, but I did see the firepit on after 9 pm; it looked very nice. They have a dog run as well.
Overall vibe of the place was immaculate and groovy, if I do say so myself. Would recommend it to anyone travelling through Flagstaff."
"This is our "go to" hotel when we need to get out of the heat in Phoenix. Great, friendly and very helpful staff who actually got us a room at a great price last minute. We love the indoor poor and spa, that is the best way to relax after a day of hiking. 4 minutes to downtown Flagstaff, there is very little noise and rooms and facilities are very well kept up. Since our last trip they completed construction of a very cozy meeting room with comfortable seating and a fireplace to have a nice nitecap in the wintertime. Finally you have the great restaurant, The Northern Pines right across ffrom the rooms. We are already planning our trip for October!!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Flagstaff East I-40
8/10 Good
"The room was clean but only 1 elevator was working. There was a really bad odor coming from the elevator and we had to hold our breath or cover our nose when riding it. On Sunday there was not enough breakfast available. When we asked the lady working she seemed angry that we were asking for more waffle mix when there was still about 20 minutes of breakfast left."
