"Cute place, right on the beach! I had some initial issues with the original room I was given. When the issue was brought to the attention of the manager, she immediately changed my room! Room is very clean, and the bed was quite comfy!! The shower pressure was excellent! AC/heat was also great!"

"This was such a wonderful stay. The Beach House is so convenient to everything and just a walk across the street to the beach and pier. The Lazy Turtle is a perfect spot as well for a quick bite to eat or a delicious drink. The staff was so kind and helpful. We forgot our beach chairs and they have rentals that were incredibly reasonable so we could enjoy the day. They even loved on our sweet pup as well. We will definitely be back"

"My best friend and I stayed here and we loved it. We stayed in the Maui section in room 110. it overlooked the ocean and also the back area of the hotel, which has a fireplace a gazebo and a pool. It was just amazing."

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."
