"I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. It is very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I had a very comfortable stay. There is a shopping center just across the street, were you to need any coffee, food, or other items. I would definitely recommend to others staying in the area!"

"I stayed at this hotel during school vacation week with my granddaughter and two small toddlers, expecting a welcoming family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were asked to leave because I had two young children with me, which was upsetting and embarrassing for my family. "I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"Not what it used to be a few years ago when we had a great long weekend. The guest they allow here trash the outside and is not being maintained. They shouldn’t be pet friendly. The outside stank of dog poop which you could see! And the 1st flr hallway smelled of wet dog mixed with cigarets. Also, someone left their dog by itself in the hallway one night. From the inside of the room you can hear EVERYTHING! Same thing from outside the room. This is what ruined our stay."
