"I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"I have stayed here before and I like it. The staff is always friendly. The only issue i have is that their breakfast (or menu in general) offers no options for people like me with food allergies (i.e. gluten, dairy and soy). So all I can enjoy is black coffee in the morning. And if I arrive late, again there aren't even any snacks I can eat. It's unfortunate, but so common in the industry."

"My husband and I stayed at this establishment on March 28 &29, 2026. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations and the cleanliness of the room. The hotel's location, conveniently situated off a major highway, was remarkably peaceful, with no noticeable noise from the highway. "The suite has plenty of room with a regular sized fridge. Pool is open until 10 with stocked towels, a clean bathroom, and a shower. The breakfast was very popular and staff did a pretty good job restocking food and plates. Two waffle makers and a bit of a line at peak hours, but worth it."

"The property is under renovation no warning of this online when booking also the fire pit was not available which was one of the main reasons to sit by the fire and we were unable to do so! My room door was right infront on renovation spot really not acceptable. there was no fresh breakfast was more of pastry and fruit"

"The breakfast was fresh and a normal hotel breakfast. It was always ready and filled so no worries on the food running out. The hotel is in the process of being renovated but our room was great! The only missing thing was a phone but we were close to the front desk so I didn’t mind. I hope to visit again when the bar and grill is fully open! "

"Everything at the hotel was very good. The negative quality was an important one, though. Then I checked out of the Marriott, the Agent gave me a receipt. However, it didn't state the cost that I paid. The Agent told me to contact Expedia. When I called Expedia, I wasted plenty of time to talk with an Agent.
