I liked the airport shuttle. The lamps and the microwave were broken. The curtains were torn and see through at night. The toilet handle fell off when I used it. No elevator. Parking lot had derelict cars.

Staff was very friendly. The shuttle to airport was very friendly and quick. It’s very close. The room was nothing special. But clean and quiet. I didn’t check out the pool. And there was no swag in the room like water or coffee. The tv worked but you either need to plug in your app accounts or watch the internet tv channels. They were mostly news, the stuff you get on Pluto and other internet tv apps.

Garden Inn and Suites is an older hotel that has not been updated in a while. However, our room was clean, had a flat screen tv, mini fridge, and microwave. Bathroom was clean and linen’s (bath towels and bed sheets) were extremely soft and fresh. Security gates to the hotel guest area were either propped open or did t require a key to get in. We needed the hotel to be able to sleep and shower. It fit our needs perfectly.

The pictures gave me more "nice hotel" expectations, so when we pulled into the parking lot, I was, like, "Uhm? Are we at the right place?" However, it certainly got the job done for a good price! This hotel has more of a motel feel, but it's so close to the airport, and it was a good price for a last-minute booking. AND the bed was comfortable and the water was hot (after you gave it a minute). Good value for a decent night's sleep and a free, 5-min shuttle to OAK airport. If you're trying to impress your friends, maybe pick another place. But, I would totally stay here again. Hope that helps!

We were only there at night, so cannot comment on the grounds. The floor in our first floor room was literally falling apart. Shouting, sticky, and dirty, I don’t know how you would clean the floor due to its poor condition. The shower was tiny and uncomfortable. They did not even give us a plastic drinking cup.

This place gets one star for convenience for its proximity to the Oakland airport, and thats it. No coffee maker in the room, no heat, things falling apart, blow dryer on the verge of blowing up. The "so called " breakfast was the shuttle driver making individual Kureg cups of coffee behind the counter. Apparently brewing a while cup would cost too much.

I arrived at approximately 3:30 PM and observed multiple vehicles in the parking lot elevated on jacks and appearing to be dismantled. The property appeared unsecured, with no visible security presence. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe exiting my vehicle or entering the premises. I immediately left and secured alternate accommodations. I did not check in or occupy the room.
