"We stayed one night after a long day at Europa-Park, and this hotel was exactly what we needed. It’s a large, business-style property with a spacious lobby and plenty of seating. Even in heavy rain, arrival was easy thanks to the wide white-curb area in front of the lobby—you can pull your rental car right up without hunting for parking, which is rare in Europe. Check-in was quick and friendly. Staff spoke English and German, and we were in our room within minutes. We had a family room with a queen bed and a sofa bed for the kids (9 and 12). The room was surprisingly spacious, with a table and chairs, lots of storage, and a complimentary minibar stocked with beer, soda, water, and juice. A nice standout: the bathroom had shampoo, body wash and conditioner, which we rarely saw at other German hotels. The shower was fully enclosed and easy to use, and the overall room was clean and comfortable—nothing overly memorable or “boutique,” but very good quality. We slept well and would stay again. The location is excellent if you're using the train. The station is directly across the street with two pedestrian bridges. From the front door, turn right, go up the ramp, cross the bridge, and take stairs or the elevator to your platform. Even with luggage, it was an easy walk. A convenient, comfortable stay—great for families and perfect for train travel."

"Wonderful. Lovely big room in new building adhacent to hotel. Lovely beds and shower. Both dinner and breakfast were great. Warm welcome from reception. Excellent service in the restaurant from Andrew. Chef appeared and served one dish himself as we needed it gluten free. Highly recommended."

"This is our fourth time to stay at the Park Post Hotel. We consider this our home away from home when we visit beautiful Freiburg. The staff have been the same for the last years of our visits and are so welcoming each time we visit. The hotel is full of charm and interest as each of their rooms is dedicated to a literary author from Germany who have stayed at the hotel themselves. It has a wonderful intimate feeling. The breakfast is always fresh and delicious. The breakfast room is rather small and can be congested especially on weekends. The staff make the best of a limited situation that their is no remedy for but certainly worth the stay regardless. We have made many fond memories during our stay at the Park Post Hotel and have invited other friends to join us and they have loved their stays as well. "
