Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea
Front desk staff was delightful. Our room was clean. Outdoor pool clean. Breakfast was very good. We had a suite...however absolutely no kitchen supplies were in the room. We had to give a deposit for paper plates. No dish towels, sponge, nothing. Very disappointing.. This hotel is very old and worn. ...

The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, Part of Destination Hotel by Hyatt
Love that this hotel is dog-friendly, just wish pets were also allowed around the property- at the restaurants and pool. Otherwise it is a great hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Lakehouse Resort
Rooms were acceptable although they are not what I would call luxury maybe a step or two above what suspect a motel room is like. Carpet needed cleaning spots everywhere and the floors were not mopped.
