"We really enjoyed our weekend stay, especially the location. Having the beach right there was absolutely wonderful! It was so convenient not having to carry all of our beach chairs, bags, and other things a long distance or drive somewhere else to enjoy the beach.
I also want to recognize some of the staff. The lady who helped with breakfast was absolutely wonderful—very kind, friendly, and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also very nice, and the food at the restaurant was excellent, definitely 10/10!
Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was not as pleasant. I accidentally booked an accessible room, and when we arrived, the room had a very unpleasant smell and looked quite outdated. I went to the front desk and tried to explain the situation and ask for a different room. English is not my first language, so I may not have explained myself perfectly, but the receptionist simply changed the room and handed us the new keys without being very friendly or welcoming. I appreciated that he changed the room, but I believe hospitality and kindness are especially important when working with guests.
Thankfully, the other front desk staff members we encountered during the rest of our stay were much friendlier and more welcoming.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beachfront location is a huge plus, the restaurant food was excellent, and several members of the staff were wonderful. I do think the hotel could benefit from some updating and renovations, and I hope management continue"
