"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! "Check in was relatively easy. It’s an automated hotel so don’t expect staff whatsoever. WiFi was spotty at best. The AC was not great, but I’ll mention it was a hot day. It’s pricey for what is offered. "

"Would not stay there again, management keyed another individual to our room and gave access to it not 10 minute after we checked in. When called to rectify the situation blew it of to a simple mistake and never really apologized for it. Although the room was listed as non smoking the smell of old smoke could still be smelled in the room. I have stay Econolodges before and they have not been bad! This one should be looked at by corporate."

"It was the cheapest alternative within a 20 miles radius of Tanglewood. So get what you pay for. It is an older motel so the condition is to be expected. For the price, it was worth the one night stay. Shower wasn't pretty but it worked. Staff was friendly enough. Continental breakfast was just old muffin type things that come in the plastic wrap."
