"My stay in Room 317 certainly left a lot to be desired. The carpet is stained with bleach and you can see it as soon as you enter the room. There is a water sound in the room that persists all day and night, and when you alert the staff of the issue they act like they’re concerned and going to do something about it, but nothing changes and there’s no follow up. You will be greeted by someone’s hair on the walls of your shower too. It’s cool to see the horses in the morning, but the hotel and staff are a bit lackluster. If they try to put you in Room 317, tell them ABSOLUTELT NOT!"

"The towels, sheets, mattresses and pillows are new and well maintained. The view from the window in the rooms of the A wing facing the lake is beautiful. The floors were dirty on all the corners of the room and the first room we were offered had the door broken into and it wouldn’t lock. Staff was helpful to immediately relocate us, but for a family with kids already tired from the road, it really bothered me. The carpet was dirty and stained socks, shoes or flip flops are a must everywhere. The breakfast is not included and definitely not worth at all what we had to pay for. No variety of items, the bakery items were stale and old and what was supposedly prepared in the kitchen was hard and had no flavor. The hot items were cold and tasted like previous day food. The hotel as a whole is dated and it has this dirty look everywhere, it was probably really nice in the 90’s (?) but now it’s just running on fumes. The pictures look a lot better than what it really is. Kids enjoyed the pool, chlorine concentrations were quite high given the smell. If we go back to Louisville I’m definitely staying elsewhere."

"Beautiful and clean hotel. Typical breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, Yukon potatoes, bacon, sausage and pancakes, bread, oatmeal and toppings, a couple of fruit choices, and your choice of omelette. The staff was nice but not as warm and friendly as another hotel we called and went in to for lunch. The staff there checked on you and was willing to help. Valet parking is $45 and was quick and efficient."

"It was ok the staff was good prices for food was outrageous if you going to pay for meal you should get on they said Continental breakfast, but didn’t get one"

"Don't stay unless you like being in noisy downtown and having to pay for Valet parking"

"Rooms were clean and we got upgraded to a suite for not a lot more money. We ate at the Down One Bourbon Bar, and they were very short-staffed so we waited a long time for a server to help us, but once we were waited on the food and drinks were good."

"Parking is easy, security is great, breakfast was much better this time and staff is always great. Property needs renovations but I will always stay here when in town cause everything else is great"

"Extremely dirty/nasty. Staff very rude and ghetto. Dont waste your time booking here, you will be throughly upset and disgusted. Absolutely HATED it here and this place need to be reported to the health department. "
