The location, despite having a great view, is a little out of reach as it's up on a hill which made walking there with a wheeled bag rather difficult. The breakfast was really basic, with no gluten or lactose free options. As a result I think the hotel is overpriced."

"The hotel is older but most of it has been renovated. We just stayed one night before we went to Tirano on the train. The room was clean and the hotel was close to the train station. We dealt with a young woman on the desk in the morning and she was polite and helpful. I also thought I had left something in the room and when I phoned they were very willing to go check for it. They promptly phoned back and let me know it wasn’t there. Thankfully I found I had packed it in a different place"
