"The property is excellent; the facilities are excellent BUT some of the staff need training in hospitality especially for an exceptional property in a historic area. I have been twice in the last 3 weeks due to work, and it was the same both times. Both times, I had multiple experiences at the front desk where staff didn't even look up from what they were doing and said, "Can I help you?" with exasperated facial expressions that appeared as if I was an annoyance or chore. "The staff were friendly. The bed appeared to be clean and the air conditioning worked. The rest of the place was rough. The shower and toilet both leaked onto the floor. The security lock for the door was broken. The carpet was gross. Couldn’t connect to the wifi. I didn’t bother to complain because the woman at check-in told me she gave me “the best room we have”."

"The hotel is very conveniently located on Route 17, a few tenths of a mile from I95. The room was clean. Breakfast was fine; eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and fruit. Coffee was blazing hot. The TV in the room offered a ton of channels, which was nice. We never tried the WiFi. Room rate was around $130 with taxes, affordable. Would stay here again."
