"our expectations of the hotel were high based on the reviews. Our experience did not match our expectations. My wife and I were assigned a triple room, which was more like a basic dorm or hostel room than a boutique hotel room. There was no standard shower head, which would have been OK if the height adjustment of the hand held shower attachment was operating correctly. It kept sliding down which was annoying. The sink closure broke at some point in our stay, so we had to bail out shaving...

"It was well located near the main riverside area. We enjoyed our stay here. Only problem was that our table fan was making a bit of noise but that wasn’t a big deal and nothing to do with the property itself. We can recommend this stay."

"We spent 4 nights at this hotel, having chosen it because of its proximity to the lake and the old town. While it's good in that respect, it unfortunately made for a very noisy stay, with traffic noise abating only slightly during the small hours. The glazing provides very poor sound insulation. The weather was very warm and it was stifling in the room, there being no air conditioning and the provided fan being noisy and innefective. So we never had a decent sleep. "Wow such a stunning location right on lake Luzern. We had lakefront room with balcony. Beautiful location about 15 minutes drive outside of downtown Luzern. It was too cold to use the pool but they have a nice relaxing wellness center with sauna. They have an outdoor hot tub but apparently you had to reserve in advance (which was not explained when we made reservation) so unfortunately we were not able to use.
