"We loved our stay! The rooms are fresh and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower is amazing. The room had everything we needed and was very quiet. On the first evening, there was a terrible smell of cigarette smoke coming into our bathroom. I called the front desk and they quickly changed our room, which we really appreciated. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful; however, many of the staff at the food counters were pretty unfriendly. That was a disappointment. But, all the food options were very yummy and having so many choices right there was great - we didn’t need to leave the property. The pools were wonderful as was the fitness center. We will definitely be back! "

"Nice property with a great pool. Rooms renovated in last couple years so in fairly good shape. Restaurant good for breakfast, borderline for dinner. "

"The inn is an "old Florida style" inn, but well kept and clean. Very welcoming at check in. Comfortable bed, nice french doors looking at the pool and barbeque area. A good one night stay."

"Large room. Both beds had squeaks when you got in and out it, waking up partner. Pillows and breakfast were good. A variety of foods. Woman running it should put out food faster after food is depleted. Lots of people there and empty shelves. She needs to wear gloves, put her hand in trash and then touched food. Floors in lobby and on second floor need cleaning, dirt spots. Free parking and free cookies at desk. The hotel is close to downtown with shops, restaurants, beach. Close to Sarasota. Cracker Barrel is on the same street as hotel. The shower head in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It has low pressure. Tried to change the setting on shower head but it is not working. The toilet paper holder is behind the toilet which makes it hard to reach should be to the side of the toilet. They have an extra toilet paper in the bathroom, should consider leaving an extra facial tissue. These always seem to run out when I arrive at a hotel and we have to go down and ask for one. Plenty of towels. The elevator was very slow. It was faster to walk up the stairs than to wait for the elevator. On the side of the elevator door arrow does not light up. Would be nice to see if elevator is going up or down. Should have quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. Across from us, loud talking slamming doors, even a scream 10 to almost 2 am. Next door to us person had his adjoining door opened, saw light under door, put towels down to block light. Laundry room needs credit card to use. "
