"I had to find a hotel in Venice with a workout room, specifically a spin bike, and this was one of the only affordable places. It wasn’t in the location I wanted but it turned out to be in a great spot. It was easy to get to from the airport (bus) and it was right next to a vaporetto stop, which took us either up the canal or straight to St. Marks Square. "Loved staying on Murano — quieter than Venice. The hotel arranged boat transfer from the airport that was easy and from there we did the vaperetto public boats to get around including to the train station without any problems. Room was a little smaller than I expected but the patio was huge and it was nice to have a private outdoor space. "

"The owner was untrustworthy and we feel we were duped. I made this reservation on expedia for a room that had a queen and a fold out couch. I realized the day we were to arrive, I booked it for one person, so I informed them there would be three. The owner called back to say it is a room has only one bed for 2, the couch does not fold out and they could not provide a cot since he had no housekeeping the rest of the day. He said I could book a second room for the third person or cancel...

The location is perfect - an easy walk to all the places we wanted to visit and lots of great restaurants close by. Perhaps the outstanding feature of our stay was the staff. They were incredible!
