"The front desk staff is absolutely horrible. People come to stay at this property because they are seeking medical attention at Mayo. They should not have to be treated deplorably just because they want to access to the subway access levels and have a pet with them. I made the reservation two weeks in advance. I had to adjust the dates, but I gave four days' notice. The Kahler Inn did not accept the new confirmation. Forty minutes on the phone with Expedia, escalation to a supervisor, then the hotel manager, all for me to check out early, check back in for this SAME, rude-as-hell customer service clerk, to make snide comments, and for me to stay just one more day. And did I mention I already paid for the room? Every. Single. Time. This woman is rude. It's not a one-off. And it's not just me. She is egregiously rude to EVERYONE. I will never go there again. I stayed out of convenience and sucked it up, but no more. Expedia even said I would get a $60 credit for the next time I booked. And that never happened!!! I just need to start looking for different ways to book online."
