"Hotel was in a great location and we enjoyed that it was more unique due to being in an older building. The room was actually very big so plenty of space for our family of 4. Only odd thing was that there was not much furniture and it would have been convenient to have one shelf or dresser to put some stuff in or on. We had to instead use our suitcases on the floor to get our stuff in and out each day."

"I had a wonderful experience at Pitti Palace. The space was clean and cool! I particularly enjoy the breakfast menu and atmosphere. The lounge area was very well designed and most appreciated. We were allowed to store our luggage for several hours after checkout. The staff was friendly, welcoming, well informed… I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience!"

"Our stay was for my daughter’s high school graduation celebration. The facility is clean and the location is outstanding - one block from the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. My only complaint is our room for three was to include two beds - the second bed was a couch. That’s Europa for you, though. Tough to find a room with two beds. My daughter found it manageable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was well worth the charge and I recommend a stop at the rooftop bar at least once for the view."

"Villa Cora was an interesting and pleasant stay with a nice pool, lovely staff, and a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay but likely will not return. Strengths: - Well-kept stately villa and grounds - Attractive, beautifully-designed room and indoor common areas - Helpful, kind, and capable staff pre-arrival and during our stay - A lovely pool environment, perfect for staying cool and relaxing in summer - Excellent fresh lunch at the poolside restaurant Le Bistrot - A general sense of peace and calmness - Good shuttle service when available Areas of Improvement: - Value: at an average €1,065 / night (incl. tax), it was too expensive for what it offered - Air conditioning was weak and the room was hot throughout our stay - Housekeeping was inconsistent - Too many expensive extras - Weak service at the pool - The strange shuttle hours of 9:30 - 12:30 and 4:30 - 8:30 left gaps and required us to take many expensive taxis - Very little storage space in the small Classic Room - Rooftop bar and basement speakeasy were both closed despite being advertised on the hotel website I debated whether to rate this property 3 or 4 out of 5, and the quality of staff broke the tie for me. A lovely complement of professionals overall"

"This hotel was listed as 4 star. The decor is WW2 era. Not what I've seen in other 4-5 star hotels. The rooms are clean but again very spare and dated. The breakfast is just the basics nothing special. The staff is kind and helpful. I appreciate all they did with arranging an early morning taxi and storing my luggage. It's situated in a beautiful historic area but there are no restaurants close by (walking distance). The pool is a nice perk especially since the temp was 98-100 degrees. It's quiet and off the beaten track."

"We had a wonderful stay at Torre del Castello. The location is perfect, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area while still having a comfortable and peaceful place to return to. The property was exactly as described, clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The accommodations were comfortable, welcoming, and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Air Conditioning could be better, though functioning, it barely cooled the room. The check-in and check-out experience was superb. The service was professional, smooth, and very helpful from beginning to end, making the entire experience even better. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Torre del Castello to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay."
