A compact golf course set in picturesque parkland, Omagh Golf Club began life as a nine-hole course in 1910. "The hotel is nice and in a very convenient location for seeing Derry. Liked that it is on the opposite side of river from action of Derry so was quiet. The staff failed to tell us that the apprentice parade was occurring during the time we were there. We left in the morning and were surprised to find that we could not get near the hotel in the afternoon due to road closures. We drove around for 2 hours and had to stop somewhere and wait another hour to get back. We had planned on visiting museums of Derry when we returned but were too late to get in. Very disappointing. There should have been some communication with the guests to tell them about this disruption. We also had to make 3 requests for a top sheet for the bed as the duvet was too hot to sleep under."

"The staff, room and breakfast were all lovely. The parking is a very small underground car park with more cars than spaces. It was very tight to manoeuvre my car around it and I was very nervous about damaging mine and or other cars. That aside the hotel is in a very good location to all the stuff you’re going to do."
