Managers John and Pamela Wurster are not only genuinely welcoming, but they treated us to some of the best coffee and croissants we’ve ever had—plus some fresh summer plums! The lovely white picket fence-enclosed yard is filled with flowers, birds, and happy squirrels and chipmunks—and great restaurants and fun shops are just a 5- to 10-min walk away."

"i did not realize that it was self check in property! there was no one there, no office! never had that before, but they were only a phone/text away!"

"Property was immaculate and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Only criticism was the fixed temperature on the thermostat in the room. The room was too warm and the unadjustable thermostat did not allow us to cool the room to a desirable temperature for sleeping comfortably. We assumed the property management was being cost conscious and wanted to reduce their air conditioning expenses. "

"Not a cheap place ! Let’s start with the smell - strong marijuana smell, and we were traveling with 11 yers old kid. Not family friendly. The room wasn’t clean, everything outdated. We couldn’t close the bathroom door all the way. Misleading advertising. The website stated there is a free breakfast and free Wi Fi. Well, none of that. “ Free breakfast “ was coffee and hot water. No toasters, no bread. None. “ Free Wi Fi” is only if you sign up for a membership, if not you have to pay. And more…...

"Lovely B&B, beautiful surroundings, and a wonderful breakfast. Room was small, a bit crowded. Bed was comfortable. The ensuite bath was cramped. Rooms are on the second floor, up a difficult stairway. With my problem with stairs currently, had we known about this limitation, we might have chosen another place. However, the owners were delightful people, helpful and courteous . We enjoyed our brief stay."

"The staff was outstanding! We enjoyed the size of the room and the equipped kitchen. The little alcove outside the bathroom was a nice touch for two people getting ready. The outdoor seating areas were nice in the evening with fire pit going. Would definitely recommend this place."

"Very nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lake Katrine, NY. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. We loved the complementary soap, shampoo and other sundries. Very convenient! Shower was consistently hot. Grind your own coffee 24/7 was the best. Continental breakfast was not bad and free. Location is close (within 15 minutes) of most attractions. This hotel is a winner!"

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...
