"I really had a great stay here and I do recommend this hotel for tourists who plan to visit Fukuoka!
Location:
The hotel is just a block away from Hakata train and bus station; Canal City Hakata is also walkable. There is a 7-11 just beside the hotel, making it really easy to grab snacks, drinks and supplies. The neighbourhood is quiet, and very safe.
Rooms and amenities:
Be sure to reserve a room that fits the number of travellers. I booked a Single Room and there was literally only one pillow, one pair of slippers, one towel etc. This is naturally only fair to the hotel.
Having said that, everything was clean and comfortable. The airconditioning was fully adjustable and that is a HUGE plus in my books!
Breakfast was good - you choose between a western or Japanese breakfast, and also have access to the mini buffet, which in my opinion, is already more than sufficient. And yummy! The highlight was the mentaiko that is served in the breakfast buffet - truly representative of Fukuoka cuisine.
Staff and service:
Very friendly, very helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. Room service was awesome - even if you indicate “no room service” for the day, you are still supplied with a fresh towel and bathroom mat which is hung outside the door. How great is that!"
