"Breakfast is always good at this location. The only down side is that we seem to have issues with getting into the room, so far every time I have stayed here there has been an issue with the key card not working and me having to return to front desk for a new one or having housekeeping assist me. Everything else is fine, the location is excellent, staff is wonderful and food is great! I do recommend this location to friends and family. Kid friendly and their pool is great."

"Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and great location – walkable to museums and restaurants. Only criticism is that the water pressure in the shower was extremely low. I’ve noticed this in other hotels recently too— I am encouraged to see a hotel conserving resources, however, low flow faucets can be installed that maintain decent water pressure."

"Rooms are specious clean and kitchen is good. Do not expect any assistance from the staff, they don’t even pick up calls. I was told that if I needed fresh towels, I had to carry the used ones to the front desk myself. Housekeeping was only offered once during a 7-day stay, and that too only after I asked. There were also numerous instructions about disposing of our own trash."

"I loved staying in this historic beauty with a speakeasy jazz club beneath it. I enjoy vintage style and this place was simply a delight and adjacent to the Eastman Museum! Great little boutique find!"

"Our daughters were in a dance competition and we booked the hotel to stay together and to have use of an indoor pool. All the girls ended with chemical burn type reactions to the chemicals in the pool. Our shower faucet also ran all night and couldn’t fully turn off."

"What’s the coolest, most “un-hotel” hotel in the ROCH? School 31! Incredibly accommodating, attentive service, bespoke loft spaces interestingly designed in an historic re-purposed space. GO THERE!"

"The room was smaller than expected but fortunately we were only staying one night. The room didn’t seem to have enough insulation and it was a cold, windy night when we arrived. The heating system worked great but the bathroom remained cold even with the door left open. It was easy to complete the check-in process and receive our door code. The only suggestions I would make is for more areas in the bathroom for supplies, maybe a small shelf and more drinking cups, only 2 were provided."
