It’s fine but not very clean.

There were things I noticed that made me question the cleaning standards of the location. I found an orange pill sitting on the bathroom floor, the room and bathroom smelt bad, and I killed two small roaches while I was there. Even the towel you set down on the floor to step out on after the shower looked dirty. It felt clean so I’m sure it was just badly stained, but still. I know there’s nothing you can really do regarding noise, but you could hear a damn pen drop two rooms down. I was woken up frequently in the night to NUMEROUS thuds and sudden noises. The positives were that the bed was clean and comfortable enough. I also liked that the room had a microwave and a fridge.

Visiting Auburn

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and service at this hotel. We visit the area often to our daughter who is a student at Auburn.we have passed this hotel up many times but nothing else was available- we will definitely stay again.

At Best a Three Star Hotel

The hotel is what you’d expect of a Ref Roof Inn: worse for wear, in need of updating, not especially clean, thin walls. The staff was incredibly nice, but this hotel isn’t great.

The rooms and lobby were clean. The person i checked in with was nice. The person at the desk in the morning wasnt as friendly. Also they didnt have anything for breakfast. I mean have some cereal or something for the price.

Usual stay. Love the king size bed. Just wish it was comfortable! Hate the brand of hotel coffee. Love the Jacuzzi tub. Could be very easy to class up a little.

Nice clean property and friendly staff, unfortunately they have local dealers and thugs circling the hotel all day and night. They prop all the security doors open constantly. They have cameras everywhere but are letting it happen. Sad

Not really clean, bathroom door wouldn't close, hair dryer didn't work. Flooring laid with large cracks between individual laminate boards which were full of dirt and grime.

I chose the property because it was affordable. It wasn't 3 or 4 star rated but it made up for it in service. I just wanted somewhere safe to sleep and it served its purpose. I would stay again. I stayed 11/11/2024 and a special shot out to all the staff that worked that afternoon and night!!

Front desk staff was nice. Entire building is extremely outdated. Zero amenities to mention. While checking for bedbugs (there were none) I noticed it didn’t look like it had been vacuumed/cleaned in years. Possibly not since the place was built.

Our overall stay was good. The front desk girl was friendly. The hotel could use some updating. The room was clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the sprints and it was hard. The bed was made with all flat sheets, no fitted sheet. 2 of the towels in our room were very stained.

I liked the fact that the front desk staff was very quick to change my room, when the door to my room didn’t lock. I was also concerned the outside door didn’t lock as well. Needs a few minor upgrades.

The gentleman at check in was very kind during the process of getting the rooms. However, thats where it best part ends. The room smelled like stale/moldy, wet dog which is saying a lot considering I have two dogs. This room had so much fur and dust bunnies all over no one was comfortable walking around barefoot. There were no wash cloths with the towels in the bathroom and the sink faucet was not secure. The sheets were very stiff and had the texture of sandpaper. Overall, the stay served its purpose which was to provide safe, quiet enclosure for the duration of the stay. The other room smelled like stale, moist cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. This room, 231, was much cleaner then the other room we occupied.

Large room. Good TV once you figure out the remote. Good location. Dog friendly. Inside room with micro and frig. No breakfast. Coffee maker in room was missing a part and didn't work. Iron but no ironingboard. No hangers on rack. No place to hang clothing in bathroom. When we checked out at 5:30 am the night clerk was in her pajamas sleeping on a chair in the lobby. We told her we were leaving and left keycards on the counter, but did not get a receipt. Very unprofessional.

Do not waste your money!!

The first room they gave us was disgusting. There was trash on the beds, trash in the beds, trash on the floors and shower. Also, there was NO fire alarm hooked up in the ceiling. There was a place for one but it was not there. Unacceptable and I honestly cannot believe they let us even see that room. I went to the front desk because I wanted my money back. All they could do was give us another room because we booked from Hotels.com. So, we chose to look at another room. It was atleast clean. So, we stayed. The rest of the property looked run down. It was pretty sketchy surrounding it. Also, I went to get coffee in the morning. It was out and no one was around to ask for more. Needless to say, it was not a good experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid.
