"The lodge and its employees are amazing! Everyone is very friendly. WiFi and cell service are spotty and not extremely reliable if that is important to you. The location is amazing if you are spending time in Kings Canyon or Hume Lake. We look forward to returning!"
"Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time.
Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by.
I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

The breakfast they served morning was absolutely delicious, with great variety and homemade touches that made it feel special. The place itself is peaceful and cozy, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with family. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!"
"Dulce was a sweet, kind and knowledgeable innkeeper. She showed my college-age daughter and I all around the house, explaining the history of the Hyde family home. Gorgeous house, beautifully decorated in period paintings, furniture, dishware, glassware, books, bedding, and more! We loved our room, the crisp bedding, the screened-in porch, the cool pool and warm hot tub, and the fancy China we used for our breakfast. We will come again! "

"The house is beautiful and spacious, but the star of the show was the backyard. The outdoor kitchen, firepit, hot tub, koi pond and gorgeous plants and lights made it the perfect vacation oasis. Everything you need for toiletries and laundry is supplied as well as plenty of staples in the kitchen. Clean and beautifully decorated- this property is a gem!"
"The room was very clean and provided just what we needed for a night's stay. There is a $60 cash deposit so just be aware of that when you are checking in, but we got the money back no problem upon checkout."
