"Manchebo did not disappoint! If you are looking for a smaller, uncrowded, fabulous beach experience with great food and staff...this is the place for you!
My husband and are in our mid-sixties and appreciated not having to fight for lounges & shade each day. We loved not having children and loud young people acting a fool while we relaxed (although the weekend was more crowded as all beaches are open to the public in Aruba-just so you are aware). Our ocean view room and balcony was perfect. We walked on the beach in both directions to find places to stop for a drink or bite to eat ... although Machebo has 4 great restaurants & we tried each one, we also like to venture out and could easily.
The front desk helped arrange a couples massage (on site), golf outing, a snorkel trip and a car rental so we could see more of this beautiful island. Highly recommend renting a car but know that the National Park closes at 4:00, so plan accordingly if that is something you'd like to include (we will have to go back and do that as we didn't know and ran out of time).
I do wish they had a few more amenities like corn hole, shuffle board, back gammon table or even a pool table but yoga/pilates every morning and the gym was nice.
