The room was not as modern and clean as I would expect for the price. The building needs updates and the hot tub was working however visibly dirty and not sanitized. Bathroom in our room was also not clean and toilet bowl had mold in it.

Avoid this hotel. The room we checked into was filthy with brown stains on the sheets that I hope was just dirt. The floors were gross and my one year old daughter’s feet turned black after a few minutes of walking around the room. The ceiling tiles were yellow, the balcony door didn’t lock and there was a dent in the wall where someone tried to punch a hole. We ended up switching rooms and had to call right away as the new room had chicken wing sauce all of the top sheet. They changed the sheets but it just shows they don’t actually wash them. It was really annoying to get to the pool and then have to go to the front desk to get towels. I have never been at a hotel that does this! They even wanted us to return them to the front desk after we swam. The pool area was not well maintained and had random leaks dripping from the ceiling. The worst part of the hotel was that it is a “party hotel” with people drinking and yelling all night long and slamming doors. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

Overall our stay was good. Great pool and arcade. Close to shopping and restaurants. It is an older hotel so different wings and difficult to find our room when we first arrived. Even after we were given directions. Also, we were quite upset to learn the TVs had poor connection and only about 5 channels that worked. We were hoping to watch game 1 of the Stanley cup finals but that channel wasn’t available. We called the front desk and we were told that the system doesn’t work due to the age of the building and they cannot rewire the building. We had to run out and buy an HDMI cord to connect our computer to watch the game. There is definitely some wear and tear to the building but the staff were great!

While at the property our room was entered by the cleaning staff even though we were not checked out and caught them going through our stuff. We were also told that because my husband medication wasn't settling with him properly we were on warning. We were placed in a room surrounded by employees of the hotel as well which made us feel like we didn't have very much privacy
