Beautiful home, slightest changes requested
The home itself was beautiful. We appreciated having a room and bathroom for all members of our family. We didn’t use the pool, but it was clean and well-fenced. Overall, the home was clean and well appointed. Some small criticisms: one thing to note is that there were no dish towels/clothes, dishsoap or dishwasher soap. The beds had flat pillows with nice decorative shams, but they needed cleaning. Some large concerns: we did not receive any email letting us know the door code. We had to hunt down a contact number at 10 p.m. for after-hours emergencies so that we could get the code to get in. The biggest concern we had was the break-ins during our stay. When we arrived the front bedroom closest to the driveway had a window unlocked and slightly open. We didn’t think much of it, closed and locked it. That night, a rental car was stolen from the home next to us. Two homes down, the family staying there had thieves enter the home while they were sleeping and take purses and wallets. Safety concerns, though no fault of the owner, definitely put a damper on our stay! Overall, we would consider this home again for future trips. Very small changes would be most appreciated in an otherwise beautiful home!
