It is so dirty the area is scary and there is. a sign once you get in saying that this is a high crime area and to make sure and lock the doors. I spent one night there and I have refunded my money and went to a different resort.

Loved everything about this stay, furniture a little outdated but everything makes up for it. Very spacious and private. Great for families overall recommend,cant wait to book again!

Very old home- 90s style, nothings been updated. Everything was dirty and so was the pool. We barely used it.

Carpet very dirty, bathroom dirty with moho everything is old and the house smell realy bad. The beds are old and smell bad. Please don't lose you money to stay there. You can't use the A/C lower than 72 so the house is hot. The pool don't has heating so you cant use because is very cooling.

Overall, the place was nice.I didn't like the fact that your pool was not heated.You have to pay thirty dollars a day just for a heated pool which is combined with the jacuzzi and the jacuzzi water goes into the pool and that's how the pool is heated up. Plus the jacuzzi jets do not work right. Next, the house is hot as hail. They say leave the windows and doors closed and the house will stay cool. That's a negative. The house cooled off in the morning to as low as about 76°-78 and then come the evening time. It's hotter than hell in there as far as 81-86°. With all the windows close and the air running the air does not work properly and i just wish they had sum fans that we could of used it probably would have helped a little.Other than that, that's everything it was fine. I would go back....

A little dated but very clean and comfortable. Loved the private pool (not heated). Close to walmart, grocery store and many dining out options. Lots of golf courses in the area.

Just say NO dont do it

Property was very dated. Nothing has been changed since the property was built prbably in the 80s. Bed and pillows horrible and old. Extra blanket is also left from the 80s, stiff and stuck together. Furniture broken down and worn. Carpet dirty and horrible. After day 1 smelled like mold and mildew. TV has limited channels, news, qvc, western channel maybe 1 or 2 other. NO way to stream or connect any usb cables. Oh and pool CLOSED Monday and Tuesdays, but you will only know those things once you are actually there. Notes tacked to every wall and doir. We complained, about all the issues. Since we were gone most of 2 days, we stayed even though it was horrible, and notified them we were leaving a day early. No refund offered at all. Pictures dont really show how horrible it was.

Fun but a little frustrating

Booked a three bedroom villa. Ok stay with terrible communication with property management (which was in England) Very economical but you get what you pay for. Tried calling about the pool heater attached to the poleoperty and was told after the fact that a slight additional fee would apply would have done that had I known ahead of time. Clothes dryer broke down and had to go to a local Laundromat to dry clothes. Contacted property management (in England) but they had no idea how to fix. The homeowner who gave rights to the property manager handles all the maintenance set up locally but was not available to call. When checking out maintenance contractor has no idea dryer was broken and was a bit upset he wasn't told. Hardwood floors in ok-good shape. Carpets were clean I think but extremely stained and a bit sketchy. Excellent WiFi connectivity and bathrooms very clean. Didn't realize it came with a pool and lanai so that was a pleasant surprise but would have liked better communication about that (see above). Living room furniture was functional but dated and pull out couch (which only used as a couch) sagged in the middle needs replaced imo. Lots of confusion about trash/recycling. Book of protocols provided by homeowner contradicted other displayed signage.

I loved how spacious and clean the house was. It had all the necessary appliances and house needs. the lake on the back made the view very peaceful and relaxing. I know the furniture is outdated, but it was clean and functional. the house was spotless.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and called the contact # (which is in England) to have the pool heated. We were informed they would send someone out that evening but it takes a good 12 hours to heat so wouldn't be ready until the next day. Saturday morning we check the pool, and it is as cold as it was the day before. We noticed a paper note slid in the front door - local rep let us know the pool heater was just turned on that morning, so wouldn't be ready for another 12 hours. We left for the day sightseeing and got back early evening. The temp in the house was 76F and rising. I called England - no answer. I called the local rep's number and it was disconnected. We had to book other accommodations for the night. The outside of the home looked nice; inside was another story: carpet so dirty you wouldn't want to go barefoot; "toiletries" means 1 roll of tp per bathroom and 1 pump bottle of hand soap. Signs in the kitchen ask you to clean up after yourself, but the only soap is again a small bottle of hand soap and a sponge/scrubby. We bought supplies to compensate. Sunday late morning I was able to reach England and they told me they would contact their local person to look into the AC not working. I received a call later that day stating her husband flipped a breaker and they would have AC repair out Monday evening. At that point we sent a detailed email to Laguna Villas contact and let them know we were leaving and expected a full refund. To their credit, they did refund us

Overall was great. Limited cooking supplies. When and bought pot to cook pasta. No extra toilet paper. No cleaning supplies. No basics like in air B&B ie sugar spices oil.

This property is in desperate need of a refurbishment and deep clean, however I sort of expected this from the reviews. It was spacious and in a good area and at a good price. With some TLC I would stay again.
