"Although the whole building could do with an update it was clean and comfortable, easy parking and short walk into town However 1/ Be aware there is no lift and stairs are old and steep 2/ The bar and restaurant may not be open. There are bars and restaurants within easy walking distance even for me with a gammy leg and walking stick "

"Lovely big room with very nice bathroom, all tastefully refurbished and very comfortable to a very high standard. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful, suggesting local restaurants and places. Parking easy. A good base to explore local chateau and beaux village. Town itself not that exciting but we had missed the famous farmer market on Wednesday. Breakfast offered but we didn’t take it, but looked nice. Great for an overnight stop on the way to our ferry crossing."

"Diabolical!! Expedia take this hotel off your list! Looked abandoned it was so unkempt. Manager extremely rude and aggressive. Reception should have been open 1700 to 2300H. He arrived 1730H the first night and 1745H the second. Our code for the front door did not work so we could not access our room. When he arrived eventually he called us liars!!!
