"I travel for work and have yet to encounter a more fascinating hotel than the White House Inn. The theme of the hotel runs throughout the place with photos and facts about the presidents and first ladies down the floor hallways. Walking into the lobby feels presidential with displays and books to read about our country's leaders. The exterior was lit up red, white, and blue in the evening - plus the east wing wasn't demolished.
The 3rd floor angled ceiling rooms were unique and didnt bother me, although taller people may find it frustrating. There was an additional seating area near the elevator where checkers were set up and a trail out through the front field that was a nice walk solo or with pets.
The night auditor Charles was great and had quick responses through texting and was able to correct a booking issue I caused with ease. (I've had bigger issues making similar changes with other chains).
10 out of 10 would stay here again and recommend to others coming to the area."
