Holiday Inn Southend by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were excellent and very helpful!! The restaurant on the roof was very handy as we were only there for one night!! And the Hotel is so close to the airport!!"

Seven Hotel

8/10 Good

"Really nice hotel on the sea front, very spacious and clean rooms with great amenities included bed was comfortable. Hotel is well maintained and in a great location"

Holiday Inn Express Colchester by IHG

8/10 Good

"Hotel was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style and there was everything you needed all was tasty. Our bed wasn’t very comfortable it was very firm. The twin room beds were much more comfortable. The rooms and hotel were beautifully kept everywhere was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms with the big walk in shower were great. They only have 1 ev charger and unfortunately it wasn’t working it would have been useful to know that before we arrived. As more people have electric cars now maybe they should email if it’s unavailable so you don’t rely on it. The staff were super helpful explaining where the nearest one was. Also it says on the website food can be ordered up to 21.15 when it was 20:45 which needs to be updated as we were just inside the time when we arrived. It would have been annoying to have to find somewhere had we arrived a little later."

"Goodnights sleep in a comfy bed"

Holiday Inn Express Braintree by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Very good stay, came with fog & they were very accommodating."

Oyster Fleet Hotel

8/10 Good

"Room was dated and needed some minor repairs and a detailed cleaning.(carpet, shower etc). There was no air conditioning so a fan would have been nice. The tv on the wall was the size of a postage stamp, as in smaller than a computer screen. The pub and restaurant were really good. Breakfast was standard fare. Staff were great, helpful and welcoming."

St Nicholas Hotel

"Good place to stay. Owned by the George Hotel and just opposite but usually much cheaper."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Colchester

County Hotel Chelmsford

"We were only in the property for 5 hours. It was a good stay over. We would use it again."
