"We have stayed at the Kingsgate a number of times. We come back generally due to the price, breakfast and convenience.
Breakfast seems to have changed from a full cooked breakfast to a continental breakfast. It was ok, but not what was being advertised.
If you are a light sleeper take earplugs. The walls appear paper thin. We could hear the people in the room next door and know another group that actually asked to be moved.
The area is central city, so late night party noises, cars and people are normal.
Parking on site now costs $25 night, which while convenient seems an excessive cost. Carparks are also tight and on a hilly slope.
It gets a pass mark, but nothing amazing."
