"Good staff"

"Brazil is a beautiful country, and most people I encountered were wonderful. I experienced genuine kindness, hospitality, and moments that made this trip memorable. Unfortunately, there were a few who demonstrated that working in hospitality and understanding hospitality are not necessarily the same thing. Nothing was loud or blatant. It appeared through passive attitudes, dismissiveness, lack of attentiveness, and subtle differences in treatment that some apparently believe go unnoticed. They...

"Muy buen servicio y cerca de todo."

"This hotel was absolutely stunning!! From the moment you walk inside, the attention to detail is unbelievable. All aspects of the hotel were amazing from the room, breakfast, fitness Center, pool and most importantly the staff!! I would love to stay here again and again and again!! The location is ideal for tourists that like to walk and explore the beach, mall and fine dining. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you for making my trip so special."

"Starting with the great location, which gives you easy access to restaurants and beaches in Ipanema and Copacabana. Also, the attention and communication from the host were awesome. And of course, the room was amazing, spotless, and exactly as shown in the pictures, with clean, comfy beds and bathrooms. The only deal-breaker for me was the stairs that take me to my room on the 3rd floor, but I wouldn’t doubt staying here again for sure."

"Pase solo un par de noches, no me gustó que pedí una habitación para 2 personas y me dieron un con 4 camas, realmente no es tan importante pero no tienen atención al detalle. Muy buena ubicación"

"My wife stayed here for her stay in Rio de Janeiro. She liked the place, but she thought it wasn’t her style. It seemed like a bunch of young people trying to hook up. The staff was trying to charge my wife extra money being that she’s Brazilian and I’m American. I had paid with my card with US dollars, they were saying that she owed the place 65 reals when I had already paid everything in full. I’m not sure if they try to do this with all foreigners, but that’s what happened. The positives are...

"I liked that the lobby in itself looked like a bar and lounge. If your going to have containers that say shampoo, conditioner, and soap at least have those things in the shower"

"Did not like the fact that I sent an email explaining that my flight was cancel 18 hours prior to schedule arrival to the hotel. However, I was still charge for that day and was told to take it up with the airline. Upon entering the room it was not service. The bathroom was not cleaning, the soap dishes and commode were dirty. The green blanket on the bed was also dirty. However, my second night in the room the blanket was removed and replace with a clean one."

"Overpriced. Room is dirty and outdated. The only plus point is the location, just across from Copacabana beach."
