"We had a really pleasant stay at Quality Inn & Suites in Gatineau. We booked two nights through Expedia and initially reserved a room with two double beds. Since it was just me and my wife, we were kindly upgraded to a king-size room, which was a nice touch.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed, large washroom, plenty of closet space, good lighting, TV, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there.
The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options and something for everyone. Overall, the hotel offered great value and we would happily stay here again.
A couple of suggestions: it would be nice to have complimentary bottled water each day. There is a water filter downstairs, but having a bottle or two in the room would be more convenient. Also, there is no elevator, so guests staying on the second floor need to use the stairs. Something to keep in mind if you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage.
Other than those minor points, we had a very good experience and would recommend the hotel."
