"Difficult review to do - this area has been damaged by hurricanes and it’s very evident in surrounding area. This mom and pop type motel was built in the late 50’s - a small one story brick building with only 11 units. The owners/ managers aren’t on site. When we pulled in, we were ready to leave. HOWEVER - the owner happened to be there and showed us the units. They were spotless. Floors were clean, beds had nice white linens, towels were big white and fluffy. Small refrigerator and microwave....

"They are unable to accommodate the handicapped. Refuse to help. They blame Expedia and in turn Expedia blames them. Got nowhere talking to either party. Had to go out and buy a suction bath handle just to get into the shower. If you are handicapped stay as far away from this place as possible. They do not care about you. You give them all the money up front and they couldn’t care less about you. There is no office to go to if you have problems. Worse Experience Ever!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!"

"My 1st review was removed and the property telephoned me on my private cell phone to basically "tell me off" - contravening the privacy policy of Expedia. The property itself was fine. The suite was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and very quiet. My only concern was this hotel had no staff and no office. "We had a lovely stay. We stayed in the suite, so we were able to bring our pups too. The owners were so helpful in finding things to do, places to eat, and just telling us a little history of the area. Their breakfast was amazing too, with eggs straight from the chickens they raise! Overall, we had a wonderful time."
