"Called ahead like instructed about late check in. Arrived and was given a non balcony room. Immediately returned to front desk to inform them and they informed me the balcony room was not clean and would take 2-3 hours to be cleaned. I inquired about a partial refund as I was tired and could not wait. I was informed to email the manager as they were not on site and given a business card. I emailed the manager before leaving, properly checked out if the hotel and left the room extremely clean. Upon checkout I asked again about the partial refund, was told manager was not available and that I needed to contact the third party site directly for partial refund. No response to email sent to manager. I called hotel twice to speak w management and was told they were not on site. Contacted hotels.com about a partial refund. Hotels.com contacted the hotel to mediate and get them to approve refund. They provided every excuse in the book not to refund in addition to the room was left dirty. The room was left extremely clean. All linens on the bed, garbage in the trash can, used wet towels in the shower not on the bathroom floor. Management and staff here are a joke and liars. Beware there is a fire alarm box that is going off and was still going off when we checked out, no water in the coffee machine and an empty bottle of creamer. Elevator smells funny and they will try to push any room off on you and make cleaning staff not having rooms cleaned your problem. "
