The place has an air of general shabbiness. The bedding was clean though and it was a short walk to the train station and bus terminal. The area is away from the college area and was quiet in the evening. We were easily able to walk to everything of interest.

If you are traveling to Oxford and want to be close (within walking distance) to everything, this is a cool place. The management is excellent and really willing to help. This place is nothing special, it is a place to lay your head. But it is well cared for and has great staff and a good breakfast.

The Osney Arms is very well located. The communication and instructions are great. The bed was comfortable and was a real king sized bed. Many beds that people in the UK call king sized aren’t really king sized. The rooms and guest house are a little outdated but overall it is a good value for the price.

Lovely clean room, and power shower. Comfy bed, lovely duck down duvet. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Great Continental breakfast ,self service . Ideally situated for visiting oxford town centre. Short 15 min walk straight into town centre. Would def book again .

Location was good. Reasonable walk to Oxford University. The continental breakfast was nice to have. Never saw that anywhere else. Seems like a one man show and he is doing his best. Important to know what you are getting though. This is an old run down property. The carpets are old, dirty and stretched out. Bedding seemed nice.

Bedroom was lovely and clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean if a little tired but perfectly useable. Breakfast was an amazing array of help yourself cereals, bread etc. Great little place that's an easy walk into Oxford centre.

Self service breakfast with lots of choice, teas, coffee machine, fruit, cereals, breads. Lovely clean kitchen and dining area. We had a King Sized bedroom that was very comfortable. Ensuite very clean and shoerr was excellent. Beautiful curtains in bedroom. Instructions for entry etc very clear. Excellently placed for a 15 minute walk into Oxford. Buses from train station as road closed for train bridge work. We had parking behind the property. We would recommend staying here and would certainly stay again. Thank you.

Older accommodation but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is self service but there is a really good selection of different items, various kinds of tea and a great coffee maker. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved the easy check-in process at the Osney Arms. The location is great, close to the train station. Our room and the bathroom were both clean and perfect. We especially liked the breakfast options in the dining room, along with the espresso machine. I would definitely stay here again!

The Osney Arms is a terrific place from which to explore Oxford. The rooms are small but quiet, clean, comfortable and have everything you would need. The breakfast is outstanding, with many healthy options and thoughtful touches. The guest house is also just a 15-minute walk from the train station. While the manager isn't on site, he replies quickly to any questions. I enjoyed my stay and found it an excellent value.
