"Overall, good value for money. The family room we stayed in was a little dusty, and the hot water didn’t work in the basin, but that was all. The breakfast was good for the price, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My child left her jacket in the lobby, and the staff kindly found it and brought it to our room the next day, which was greatly appreciated. We were also pleased with the parking. Recommended for anyone travelling with a budget."

"The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being next to the A34 my room was quiet. The location was actually good and only a 5 minute walk via the service station car park to the bus stop at the park and ride. "

"Self service breakfast with lots of choice, teas, coffee machine, fruit, cereals, breads. Lovely clean kitchen and dining area. We had a King Sized bedroom that was very comfortable. Ensuite very clean and shoerr was excellent. Beautiful curtains in bedroom. Instructions for entry etc very clear. Excellently placed for a 15 minute walk into Oxford. "Having never stayed before at the Crazy Bear I went in with high expectations, however I didn’t realise the room which was meant to be a decent level, was the size of a postage stamp, just enough room for a double bed, no spa even though it was advertised as that’s the other venue not Steadhampton. Overall less than impressed, especially for the money, probably the most expensive hotel you can stay in per square foot, which was about 12. "

"Room was quirky, clean and had good amenities (perhaps only missing an iron?) with a particularly good shower and comfortable bed. The location is great, not in centre but a nice walk with plenty of cafe’s, restaurants and bars nearby. Only downside’s We stopped on a Friday and Saturday night and it was noisy from the bar/karaoke downstairs till circa 1am, (we had fun guessing what the song was) however they do warn you when booking and provide ear plugs. Also the stairs are quite steep but...
