"We chose the Ole English Inn because of it's proximity to meeting with friends. In the past, we have eaten in the restaurant below the inn and we were pleased. The Inn was what we expected, in that, it was like similar inns we stayed in England. Rooms smallish and the bathroom older and quaint--like one would expect. "The room smelled a little musty when we first arrived. After turning on the AC and went out for a couple of hours we came back and there was no smell at all. It might be helpful to the customer if the AC was turned on before they arrive to prevent this issue. The man at the front counter was very nice."

"The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The beds have some type of metal skirt around the bottoms of them. Which can be noisy any time you move. One of our beds also sounded like it had a broken spring in it. When we checked in the young lady proudly said her cousin had just stayed in the room she put us in so she knew it was top notch clean (I didn't understand that unless she left a mess) but all of us had black feet and socks from the filth on the linoleum floor. "The front desk lady was the ONLY thing pleasant about this stay. The other guy up front was very rude and unprofessional. They have a little ice maker in the "lobby" area. With that being said, I needed some ice before I left so I proceeded to get ice in the bucket they provided. He had an issue with me getting ice and started telling me to leave. .that I can only get a small amount because they don't have an actual machine...(Mind you, I'm using their provided bucket.)
