"Great room , service and breakfast "

"Nice hotel lovely setting. Room was nice. Breakfast was ample and good choice. Pool facilities were nice but shower out of use. No bathrobes in bedroom or slippers had to get reception to deliver them they were not held at dos pool either other than that a very pleasant stay "

"First up, the photo of this property is entirely inaccurate. It isn’t merely that the photo is of the property a while ago - it is a photo of a different house altogether. See photos for the actual property. Rubbish piled up in a corner outside as well. The entire building smelled vaguely like cigarette smoke. It is in a fairly advanced state of neglect. We were offered a choice of two bedrooms, and the one we rejected was tiny, with peeling laminate on the floors. Ours has been documented...

"Had all the essentials, good location and good shower. The bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable and there was a constant whirring sound in the room a bit like a faint extractor fan. It just wouldn't stop and, as a light sleeper, made it difficult to get to sleep. Our room was also next to reception and early in the morning we could hear all the conversations going on at the reception desk and in the breakfast area. "Unfortunately the duvet had a very bad odor. I tried putting a towel over it but still could smell a very bad stench. Thankfully flipping the head side and feet side worked. It was jus a night so didn’t bother telling the staff. The staff was very courteous and tried to be helpful. "

"Crown House is an east Oxford gem. Very reasonably priced rooms, maintained spotlessly, and managed by a kind, very hospitable, and attentive staff. Cowley Road location is ideal given local superabundance of genuine ethnic restaurants, multiple supermarkets, specialty stores, and Oxford's largest bike shop. Local buses run constantly on Cowley Road with easy, easy access to the city center. Crown House's Cowley Road location is also an easy walk to the Oxford Tube Bus stop on the near St....
