Padang Padang is beautiful beach, it's slightly less touristy than some of the other beaches on the island (around kuta) and definitely smaller. I highly recommend the surf lessons, great fun, they make it easy for beginners and it's only about $22 USD per hour but more than likely you can bargain down the price!
My niece from Canada was in town last week so been exploring the island a bit! Here's one from Padang Padang Beach. Small but quite scenic! #LoveMyTown

The friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at! Delightful staff and wonderful secluded location but near the town centre. Lots of events, some free, and helpful advice on where to visit. The room was spacious with a good view and wi-fi was generally okay.
